🛠️ Open Source & Transparency
Delta is deeply committed to full transparency, verifiability, and decentralization.
As the network grows, all major components — from smart contracts to mobile and web app source code — will become open source, allowing the community to inspect, audit, and contribute.
“To ensure transparency, fairness, and openness, Delta must become open source. As development progresses, software projects will be open sourced gradually. When the number of users reaches 1/30 of the world population, the entire Delta ecosystem will be completely open source.”
— Whitepaper §4.2: Open Source Approach
💡 What’s Already Open Source
You can check the following programs pertaining to Delta project below:
•👉 📱 delta_mobile_app – Mobile app (Flutter, Android/iOS)
•👉 💻 delta-web – Frontend for the Delta website
•👉 ⚙️ dsms_verifier_terminal & gsms_receive_terminal – Tools for decentralized SMS verification
These repositories are all released under the MIT license, reflecting Delta’s commitment to openness.
✅ Why This Matters
• 🛡 Trustless architecture — no hidden logic, no centralized points of failure
• 🤝 Community-driven development — open to contributions and global scrutiny
• 🌍 Transparent roadmap — every update is visible and public
🛠️ Roadmap to Fully Open
• 🔄 Modular components are already gradually being published
• 4️⃣ Full open-source release is targeted when Delta reaches ~300 million users (~1/30 of world population)
• 📘 In the meantime, Delta remains under a transparent interim governance model (§4.3.1)
📌 Summary
